She's older than actress Elizabeth Olsen. Mary-Kate Olsen was born Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Jarnette "Jarnie", a personal manager, and David "Dave" Olsen, the real estate developer as well as mortgage lender. As well as her twin Ashley Mary-Kate also has an older sister Elizabeth Olsen; a younger brother, Trent as well as two half siblings, from her second marriage to her father. Olsen and her parents separated in 1996. Madison Pettis, a Disney actress from the mid 1990s to mid 2000s. After appearing in Barney & Friends from 2005 until 2006.
