Jessica Lucas had a bleak year that began with a bleak start. The much-anticipated Cult program, that was released on February 19th, was removed from the schedule a few weeks after. It was cancelled on April 10. Later that the same year CW continued to air the show's remaining episodes. However, it was not a great experience being in an 13-week drama show that was cancelled at the beginning. On the bright side, Jessica Lucas' career seemed to be growing by ways and bounds on the screen. Jessica Lucas starred as Michael B. Jordan's American wife in the film That Awkward Time, which was released in the early part of 2014. The problem is that she's in a relationship and is the one who has an upper hand within the marriage. Lucas is a prominent presence in the movies she appears in, as well as in a buddy film. The focus of the story is on the three leads. In addition, as I mentioned previously she's also on the screen in the small amount of scenes that she was to play in Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae Grinsey, AnnaLynne McCord or Jessica Stroup quickly joined her for 4 episodes on 90210. In 2009 she joined the cast of a highly successful reboot of the popular 1990s series, Melrose Place playing a wholesome elementary-school instructor Riley Richmond.
